Elympics (ELP) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2021. It operates as a multichain entertainment token designed to power Play2Win mini-games within superapps and social ecosystems.
The protocol connects high-profile intellectual property brands—Pudgy Penguins, Doodles, Flappy Bird, among others—with lightweight competitive games accessible through platforms like Telegram. This architecture solves a persistent market friction: onboarding casual gamers into web3 by embedding blockchain functionality inside familiar messaging interfaces. The games remain immediately playable while the token settles verification, rewards, and governance silently in the backend.
Elympics operates on the Ethereum network as an ERC-20 token. It does not maintain its own consensus layer but inherits Ethereum’s security, relying on the established validator set to finalize transactions and smart contract interactions.
The ERC-20 standard ensures broad composability across Ethereum’s decentralized finance infrastructure. Smart contracts handle gameplay verification, staking vaults, and buyback logic. When a partner game processes a reward event, the contract autonomously routes a portion of the generated value back to ELP stakers, creating a closed-loop value accrual mechanism without manual intervention.
The project surfaced in late 2021, targeting the collision point of mobile gaming and tokenized incentives. Its earliest public traction came through a tie-up with the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection—the Telegram mini-game Pengu Clash gathered more than two million waitlist registrations. The pipeline quickly expanded to include Doodles and Crypto Banter, signaling an aggressive, IP-driven licensing model that differentiates it from typical GameFi platforms.
The long-term vision aims to erect a decentralized entertainment layer where in-game progress, ownership, and reward distribution exist tokenically across multiple franchises. Rather than isolating each brand in a separate economic silo, the system pools value into a single token, making every successful game a direct contributor to ELP’s aggregate demand.
ELP serves as the utility token that verifies gameplay outcomes, stakes to secure network operations, and collects emissions from ecosystem titles. Staking contracts lock user tokens and distribute a pro-rata share of rewards originating from game-generated fees, buybacks executed on open markets, and time-bound promotional campaigns. The token also acts as the settlement medium for entry fees, prize pools, and in-game asset trading across the Elympics suite.
Validators and delegators lock ELP to participate in network integrity and earn protocol emissions. Game studios incorporate the token into reward architectures, prize distributions, and micropayment flows. Stakers gain exposure to a diversified yield that is directly tied to the popularity of the underlying games, with buyback pressure exerted whenever a partner title generates economic surplus.
Elympics has a maximum supply of 3,500,000,000 tokens. Currently, 1,608,148,416.44 are in circulation. No fixed inflationary schedule governs new issuance, but demand-side pressure is engineered through periodic buybacks, staking-induced lockups, and reward campaigns that recycle ecosystem earnings back to ELP holders. With a market capitalization of $1,428,172, Elympics ranks #2,640 among all cryptocurrencies.
