About Huma Finance

Huma Finance (HUMA) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2025. The asset anchors the PayFi sector, bridging decentralized finance with real-time global payment settlement across both the BNB Smart Chain and Solana ecosystems.

The protocol powers a financing layer for global payment institutions, enabling them to settle obligations around the clock using stablecoins and on-chain liquidity pools. It directly attacks the endemic latency and fragmented liquidity of traditional cross-border payments, trade finance, and even emerging DePIN infrastructure funding. Instant access to capital anywhere is its singular, hard-coded function.

Huma Finance operates on the BNB Smart Chain and Solana networks. A dual-chain token architecture grants the protocol deep access to stablecoin reservoirs and established developer tooling on both chains without fragmenting its core settlement logic.

The token exists as a BEP-20 asset on BNB Smart Chain and as an SPL token on Solana. It inherits the finality speed and consensus security of each underlying layer-1. Smart contracts orchestrate PayFi settlement flows, converting payment obligations into on-chain funding pools, eliminating correspondent banking intermediation entirely. No sidechain. No rollup.

Launched on May 26, 2025, Huma Finance entered circulation through a Binance Launchpool event, which seeded its initial distribution and drew sharp attention within the Binance ecosystem. The protocol’s source code is publicly maintained by the 00labs collective; the core contributors have not publicly identified themselves. Alpha airdrops and multiple exchange listings followed rapidly.

The overarching mission is to collapse the settlement window for global payments from days to seconds by routing them through decentralized liquidity venues. It pursues a world where remittance providers, trade finance desks, and even machine-to-machine payment networks tap permissionless on-chain credit, bypassing the sluggish rails of legacy correspondent banking.

HUMA functions as the native utility and governance token of the PayFi ecosystem. The asset integrates directly into lending pools, allowing users to supply liquidity for yield farming or to borrow against it. Staking the token secures underwriting pools, while governance rights enable voting on risk parameters, asset whitelisting, and fee structures that underwrite every settled transaction.

Liquidity providers channel capital into PayFi pools and earn a pro-rata share of settlement fees accrued from each invoice or cross-border transfer processed. Institutions that need to finance trade receivables lock HUMA as collateral to mint stablecoin loans, receiving immediate on-chain settlement without manual intermediary approval. Governance participants delegate voting weight to continuously recalibrate credit models.

Huma Finance has a maximum supply of 10,000,000,000 tokens. Currently, 1,733,333,333 HUMA are in circulation. The tokens were initially distributed through a Binance Launchpool event, quickly ballooning the floating supply across over 58 exchanges and 71 trading pairs. With a market capitalization of $44,591,210, Huma Finance ranks #508 among all cryptocurrencies.
