Dexsport (DESU) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2021. It anchors a decentralized prediction platform spanning sports betting, peer-to-peer crypto rate predictions, and NFT collecting.
The protocol challenges entrenched bookmaking models by routing wagers through smart contracts on the BNB Smart Chain. This architecture removes custodial risks and opaque odds-setting mechanisms, instead relying on programmable, auditable logic to settle outcomes. A bettor never surrenders control to a house wallet.
Dexsport operates on the BNB Smart Chain network. It runs as a BEP-20 token, which underpins the platform’s economic layer without a proprietary consensus mechanism of its own.
The token’s technical footprint is straightforward: a BEP-20 contract at 0x32f1518baace69e85b9e5ff844ebd617c52573ac. Transactions rely on BSC’s near-instant finality and gas efficiency, a necessity for the high-frequency micro-commitments intrinsic to live betting environments.
The project materialized in September 2021, entering a period where decentralized prediction markets sought traction against centralized counterparts. No single founder or team is publicly attributed; the protocol surfaced as a Binance Smart Chain-native initiative, rapidly populating a handful of active trading pairs and attracting a modest initial liquidity pool.
Dexsport aims to disaggregate the traditional sportsbook into a permissionless, globally accessible array of on-chain prediction contracts. By anchoring every market outcome to decentralized oracles, the protocol dissolves counterparty default exposure and sidesteps conventional geo-fencing restrictions.
DESU tokens constitute the sole credential for accessing prediction modules. Users hold and spend DESU to back their forecasts, to create new market types, or to claim NFT-based collectibles that likely encode tiered reward multipliers. The token also functions as the settlement unit, with winning positions paid out directly in DESU.
A bettor locking DESU into a contract on a football match outcome triggers an atomic on-chain action. Verified by an oracle feed, a correct call automatically returns the principal plus a pro-rata share of the opposing liquidity pool. Parallel logic governs crypto pair predictions and binary NFT predication events, creating a unified risk-hedging interface.
Dexsport has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 DESU tokens. Currently, 195,631,763.16 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $2,309,885, Dexsport ranks #2,217 among all cryptocurrencies.
