About Defi Warrior

DeFi Warrior (FIWA) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2021 that operates on the BNB Smart Chain. It anchors a DeFi and NFT-infused play-to-earn game where crypto assets are personified as warrior characters in a miniature blockchain galaxy.

The protocol wraps yield mechanics into an interactive combat universe, addressing the persistent disconnect between passive token speculation and direct user participation. By mapping real-time crypto price volatility onto warrior attribute buffs, the game translates market data into strategic gameplay leverage. Resource extraction, boss raids, and peer-to-peer character trading all happen without leaving the client.

FIWA operates on the BNB Smart Chain network. The token exists as a BEP-20 asset, while in-game warrior NFTs conform to the BEP-721 standard for distinct on-chain ownership. This dual-standard design slots the ecosystem into the wider BNB Chain infrastructure of wallets and decentralized exchanges.

The BEP-721 warriors are tradeable on DeFi Warrior’s proprietary marketplace and can be locked in staking pools that emit FIWA rewards. Marketplace trading mandates FIWA as the settlement currency, and the team executes periodic token burns tied to platform operations. Warrior characters gain combat strength directly from external token price swings, a buff algorithm that forces players to monitor market conditions.

The project was co-founded by Mark Dao, CEO of BAP Group, and Victor Truong, CEO of BAP Ventures, with early advisory from Kyber Network’s Loi Luu and Tomochain’s Long Vuong. Its in-house Smart Game Studio grew from the acquisition of Funkoi, a game firm started by Google Technical Leader Daniel Jeppsson and later absorbed by BAP. Launched in 2021, DeFi Warrior introduced the first Initial Game Offering (IGO) model to crowdfund nascent in-game ventures.

The overarching intent is to smudge the line between gaming and decentralized finance, importing a crypto-native audience into a visually digestible galaxy narrative. Simulated mining, fork events, and price-reactive hero stats recast abstract blockchain concepts as playable loops. The ambition is a low-friction portal that transforms curious gamers into cryptocurrency participants.

FIWA functions as the sole medium of exchange within the in-game NFT marketplace, compulsory for all warrior character transactions. Staking BEP-721 warriors in designated pools releases FIWA emissions, locking user activity into a circular reward architecture. A manual burn mechanism incrementally pulls tokens out of circulation during operational cycles.

Gamers must hold FIWA to purchase and trade NFT warriors, the core assets required for mission progression and mining rewards. Staking a warrior in a liquidity pool produces FIWA yields, creating an incentive to remain engaged over multiple gameplay seasons. The burn cadence ties token velocity to marketplace churn, compressing supply as trading activity intensifies.

DeFi Warrior (FIWA) has a maximum supply of 10,000,000,000 tokens. Currently, 2,270,639,660 FIWA are in circulation. The protocol features a discretionary burn schedule executed during ongoing project operations, systematically contracting the circulating float. With a market capitalization of $88,293, DeFi Warrior (FIWA) ranks #6,085 among all cryptocurrencies.
