ChainSwap (CSWAP) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2024. It operates as a cross-chain asset bridge token, deployed natively on Ethereum as an ERC-20 standard instrument.
The protocol erases the chronic friction of liquidity trapped inside siloed mainnets. Built on Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol and Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol, the infrastructure routes value between incompatible ledgers without centralized escrow. The design collapses multi-step wrapping paths into a single hop, directly tackling the counterparty risk and latency that plague conventional bridges.
ChainSwap operates on the Ethereum network. The system’s smart contracts inherit finality from Ethereum’s consensus layer, while cross-chain message passing relies on Chainlink’s decentralized oracle networks and Circle’s native USDC burn-and-mint rails. This layered stack pushes security validation upstream, away from vulnerable multisig committees.
The token follows the ERC-20 specification, ensuring straightforward composability with all Ethereum Virtual Machine tooling, wallets, and automated market makers. Its contract, resident at 0xae41b275aa…, exposes standard balance-of and transfer functions, allowing on-chain indexers and oracles to poll real-time supply data. No custom opcode modifications or sidecar relay chains intrude on the base protocol.
The project materialized on March 7, 2024, surfacing without a named founding team in public disclosures. Its architecture skipped alpha testnets, going directly to production with a live swap endpoint that wired together Chainlink’s CCIP message channels and CCTP’s permissionless USDC transmission. Early on-chain explorers tracked immediate bridge activity between Ethereum and external virtual machines.
Its enduring objective strips away the custodial toll booths that fracture decentralized finance. Instead of routing capital through wrapped asset trustees, the protocol aims to make cross-chain execution indistinguishable from peer-to-pool settlement on a single chain. The intended outcome is an environment where a liquidity position on one rollup can immediately service a swap on a foreign L1, without the user ever touching a third-party vault.
CSWAP is the settlement gas for cross-chain routing fees and the governance lever within the protocol. Each cross-chain swap forwards a micro-denominated portion of the input amount to the fee module, payable exclusively in the native token. Token holders steer parameter votes: adjusting relayer bond requirements, whitelisting destination chains, and modifying the fee-split formula between node operators and the treasury.
Validators lock CSWAP into dedicated relay nodes to secure the cross-chain transport layer and earn a proportional slice of aggregated swap fees. Users who elect to pay transaction costs in CSWAP receive a fee discount relative to payments in base assets like ETH or stablecoins. Liquidity coordinators also post token-denominated bonds to signal solvency before being entrusted with route attestation duties.
ChainSwap has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. Currently, 960,121,606.77 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $1,698,761.00, ChainSwap ranks #2,485 among all cryptocurrencies.
