Vexanium (VEX) is a cryptocurrency and Layer 1 blockchain platform engineered for decentralized application deployment and retail-scale adoption.
The protocol provides a decentralized operating system explicitly tailored for smart contracts and DApps, bridging the chasm between enterprise requirements and everyday consumer use. It targets the persistent friction of inaccessible blockchain interfaces by offering a cohesive environment where businesses can launch decentralized services without sacrificing user familiarity. This focus on accessibility sits at the core of its design, aiming to pull blockchain out of niche technical circles and into conventional commercial workflows.
Vexanium operates on its own blockchain using delegated proof of ownership (DPOS).
The network’s infrastructure runs a delegated proof of ownership consensus that distributes block production among elected delegates. Governance and resource allocation follow a decentralized autonomous enterprise model, encoding operational rules directly on-chain. Smart contracts execute natively across industry-agnostic use cases, from supply chain verification to retail payment integrations.
Vexanium was developed by a Singapore-based team intent on bridging blockchain infrastructure with real-world business models. The whitepaper outlines a decentralized operating system for decentralized applications through an autonomous enterprise framework.
The project’s long-term objective is to catalyze mass adoption of decentralized technology by eliminating the barriers that have kept blockchain siloed in speculative trading. It aspires to function as an invisible backend layer for applications ranging from loyalty programs to enterprise resource planning, embedding trust without demanding technical expertise from the end user.
VEX tokens serve as the native gas unit for transaction processing and smart contract execution on the network. Stakeholders delegate VEX to vote for block producers, directly shaping the DPOS consensus and the direction of protocol upgrades. The asset also operates as a medium of exchange within the ecosystem’s array of decentralized finance and enterprise applications.
Block producers and their delegators stake VEX to secure the chain and earn block rewards, creating an economic incentive loop that underpins network integrity. Application developers integrate VEX for in-app payments, microtransactions, and access controls, while governance participants employ staked tokens to ratify parameter changes.
Vexanium has a maximum supply of 1,178,427,641.28 tokens. Currently, 1,049,551,900 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $1,828,444.00, Vexanium ranks #2,408 among all cryptocurrencies.
