About Tensora

Tensora (TORA) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2025. The asset is classified as a token on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) and anchors a broader network designed to incentivize open markets for artificial intelligence computation.

The protocol creates an open marketplace for machine intelligence, directly addressing the fragmented landscape where EVM-compatible smart contracts lacked native, incentivized access to decentralized AI compute and inference. By allowing anyone to contribute computational resources, model evaluation, or inference, it dismantles monopolistic structures that traditionally centralized AI model serving behind paywalled APIs. Essentially a Bittensor-like construct on BSC, it unites rollup efficiency with token-driven participation.

Tensora operates on the BNB Smart Chain network, utilizing the OP Stack to process transactions off-chain while posting calldata to BSC for data availability and settlement. This architecture allows the network to inherit BSC’s security while drastically reducing congestion and gas costs. The L2 design sidesteps the base layer’s throughput limitations, executing AI task coordination in a separate execution environment before anchoring final state to the main chain.

The rollup integrates ERC-4337 account abstraction and Paymaster contracts, enabling users to settle transaction fees denominated in TORA rather than BNB. Its modular design separates on-chain governance and staking logic from off-chain AI inference and validation nodes, allowing specialized subnets to compete for intelligence tasks across language, trading, or vision domains. Native OP Stack bridging further connects the network to the broader Superchain ecosystem.

The project emerged in 2025 as a community-driven effort, with no founding individuals publicly named. Its launch coincided with growing demand for decentralized AI infrastructure on BNB Chain, and early liquidity began materializing in the fourth quarter of that year. Drawing conceptual inspiration from Bittensor, the network was engineered to incentivize permissionless participation in machine learning tasks without centralized coordination.

Tensora’s long-term objective centers on dismantling centralized control over machine intelligence, shifting model training and inference into a permissionless, token-incentivized market structure. This vision removes gatekeepers from model serving and allows any participant to offer or consume compute resources without centralized intermediaries. It fundamentally reimagines AI as a public utility governed by economic incentives rather than corporate mandates.

Within the protocol, TORA functions as the native gas token for transactions through abstracted accounts, as the staking asset required to create or join intelligence subnets, and as the settlement unit rewarding nodes that correctly perform model inference or validation. Validators and compute providers earn TORA emissions by serving inference requests and verifying outputs. Token holders delegate stake to subnets, distributing rewards proportionally and securing the network’s economic alignment with honest participation.

Validators stake TORA to operate nodes that process AI jobs and earn protocol emissions. Delegators lock tokens in governance-selected subnets to share in reward distributions, while users spend TORA directly for gas when interacting with any rollup application. The token’s utility extends to governance, where stakers influence subnet parameters and protocol upgrades.

Tensora has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. Currently, 1,000,000,000 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $60,481, Tensora ranks #6,705 among all cryptocurrencies.
