SUKI (SUKI) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2024. It inhabits the Ethereum ecosystem as a zero-tax meme token, grafted directly onto the sprawling canopy of dog-themed digital assets.
A pure speculative vehicle. Its single structural novelty is the complete absence of transfer levies—unusual in a space where buy and sell taxes often punish exits. By stripping out these frictions, the contract hard-codes an incentive to simply accumulate and retain tokens. No philanthropy wrapper. No complex tokenomics. Just the raw, frictionless exchange of a culturally charged asset.
SUKI operates on the Ethereum network. Every transaction settles within Ethereum’s global state machine, inheriting the base-layer security guarantees of one of the most battle-tested decentralized ledgers in existence.
The smart contract adheres to the ERC-20 standard and lives at 0x696733ce8f… on Ethereum mainnet. Because it levies a 0% tax, the transfer function moves tokens without diverting a single wei to a dead address or liquidity pool. This parsimonious design strips away the arithmetic complexity found in many meme contracts—there are no automatic liquidity injections, no reflection formulas, no burn paths. The result is a stateless token that behaves with the transactional simplicity of a primitive transfer.
No individual founders have attached their names to the deployment. The token’s cultural lineage is more explicit. In December 2013, The Verge identified “Suki,” a Shiba Inu photographed by Jonathan Fleming, as the scarfed dog that anchored a widely circulated meme variant alongside the more famous Kabosu. That image lay dormant in internet strata until February 2024, when Canadian rapper Eric Reprid released a track titled “Suki.” Clips of the song’s hook, with its explicit lyrical content, erupted across X and TikTok, seeding the viral substrate from which the token emerged. The SUKI contract went live on September 15, 2024, a direct artifact of that social media combustion.
There is no articulated mission, no white paper, no technical roadmap. The project’s entire raison d’être orbits around meme virality and the zero-tax design. It functions as a liquid container for a highly specific cultural moment, a bet on the persistence of a joke rather than on any utility. In this, it echoes a broader trend where financial nihilism and internet folklore fuse into tradeable, permissionless assets.
SUKI acts purely as a ledger entry on the Ethereum blockchain. The token itself governs nothing, secures nothing, and entitles its holder to no protocol-level rights. Transfers execute with brutal simplicity: a wallet sends 1,000 SUKI, the destination receives exactly 1,000 SUKI. No portion disappears into a liquidity pool, no reflection tax redistributes value to existing holders, no burn address permanently subtracts from the supply. This contrasts sharply with the deflationary feedback loops engineered into tokens like SafeMoon, marking SUKI as an intentionally inert instrument.
The sole active market for SUKI permits a single trading pair, where participants exchange SUKI against a base currency. Speculators acquire the token hoping that renewed social media momentum will compress the tiny market capitalization into a higher price per unit. Validators have no role here—there is no staking yield to collect. Instead, the zero-tax architecture ensures that a trader can exit a position without incurring the automatic haircut that gnaws at returns in most meme token ecosystems. Portfolio repositioning, when driven by ephemeral TikTok trends, becomes a costless operation at the contract level.
SUKI has a maximum supply of 200,000,000 tokens. Currently, 183,789,475.20 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $9,168.61, SUKI ranks #10,006 among all cryptocurrencies.
