Revuto (REVU) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2021 as a Cardano-native token, purpose-built to rewire how consumers manage and pay for digital subscriptions.
The project networks together payment cards, DeFi liquidity, and a mobile dApp.
Designed for a subscription economy ballooning at 100% annually, Revuto dissolves the administrative chaos of tracking free trials, forgotten auto-renewals, and foreign exchange markups on recurring charges.
Users wrangle payments via virtual debit cards—block, snooze, approve—directly from the dApp.
Behind the interface, REVU holders inject capital into liquidity pools that cover those payment commitments, earning a cut of the transaction fees.
Revuto operates on the Cardano network.
It does not run its own chain; the token lives as a native asset, inheriting Cardano's deterministic fees and eUTXO security.
All transfers settle on-chain, fully auditable via Cardanoscan.
Technically, REVU exists as a Cardano native asset—not an ERC-20 or BEP-20 abstraction—under the policy ID 94cbb4fcbcaa2975779f273b263eb3b5f24a9951e446d6dc4c13586452455655.
The supply is hard-capped; no further minting ever occurs.
Transfers benefit from the low, predictable fees of Cardano’s ledger.
Revuto set up shop in 2021, its founders unnamed, releasing whitepaper v1.8 and the token simultaneously in May.
The problem set was narrow: free-trial-to-paid leaks, forgotten charges, FX waste.
A small, privacy-aware user cohort quickly migrated subscription billing to the protocol.
The foundational thesis holds that consumers, not vendors, should dictate the rhythm of subscription payments—a reversal of the current auto-debit paradigm.
Revuto converts passive billing cycles into active, yield-bearing positions.
Capital, instead of leaking monthly, gets deployed across liquidity pools until the exact moment a payment is due.
Inside the protocol, REVU functions as the sole staking resource.
Users lock tokens into pools that guarantee liquidity for upcoming subscription settlements; in return, the protocol distributes a fraction of the fees generated each time a card transaction is approved or blocked.
The virtual card system directly maps a staker’s balance to payment authorization—no token means no buffering against unwanted charges.
Staking REVU enrolls the holder into a fee-sharing arrangement: each subscription that passes through the virtual card pipeline generates a small commission, proportionally distributed to stakers.
Concurrently, locked tokens enable the creation of merchant-specific virtual cards with granular spending controls.
Liquidity providers thus replace credit-card intermediaries, earning yield from the precise moment a checkout is authorized.
Revuto has a maximum supply of 280,125,000 tokens.
Currently, 182,113,458 are in circulation.
With a market capitalization of $275,417, Revuto ranks #4,401 among all cryptocurrencies.
