Nsure.Network (NSURE) is a cryptocurrency. It operates squarely inside the decentralized finance sphere, engineered specifically as a composable insurance primitive on the Ethereum mainnet.
The platform introduces an open marketplace that directly underwrites crypto-native and real-world risk exposures. Instead of relying on rigid actuarial tables, Nsure borrows the structural logic of Lloyd’s of London, letting capital providers and policy seekers collectively discover fair premium rates. That model attacks a core friction in legacy insurance: the opacity and sluggishness of centralized pricing committees.
Nsure.Network operates on the Ethereum network. The token itself does not power a standalone chain; it inherits the security and finality guarantees of an EVM-based settlement layer without requiring a separate validator set.
The asset lives as an ERC-20 utility contract, making it broadly composable with Ethereum’s sprawling DeFi superstructure. On-chain explorers confirm standard fungible token behavior, and the protocol’s integration points rely entirely on Ethereum-native opcode execution and event emission for state verification. No alternative hashing algorithms or side-chain bridge mechanisms are present in the core design.
The project emerged without a single publicly attributed founder, mirroring a broader wave of anonymous or pseudonymous DeFi protocols that prioritized market mechanisms over personality. Drawing intellectual lineage from the centuries-old London subscription market, the network’s design surfaced during an era when DeFi protocols scrambled to patch the glaring absence of decentralized coverage for smart contract failures and exchange hacks.
The deep ambition is to reconstitute insurance as a purely algorithmic public good inside open finance. Rather than filtering capital through licensed carriers, the protocol treats risk capacity as a fluid, tokenized resource that should be accessible to any geographically unconstrained market participant.
NSURE serves two rigid mechanical roles within the protocol. Governance is the first: token holders vote on parameter adjustments, treasury allocations, and claims dispute resolution. The second function is as underwriting collateral, where NSURE tokens are pooled to back purchased policies, and the system’s dynamic pricing engine continuously recalibrates premiums based on the ratio of staked capital to active coverage demand.
Capital suppliers acquire NSURE and deposit it into underwriting vaults to earn a share of policy premiums, while also absorbing loss exposure during adverse claim events. Policy buyers, in turn, interact with the same liquidity pools by paying dynamically priced premiums that adjust algorithmically as capital buffers contract or expand across different risk categories.
Nsure.Network has a maximum supply of 100,000,000 tokens. Currently, 23,727,235.87 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $21,605.00, Nsure.Network ranks #8,468 among all cryptocurrencies.
