Nativ (NTV) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2025. It exists as a token on the Base ecosystem, merging a geospatial virtual world with blockchain-native financial infrastructure.
The network constructs a simulated Earth environment where users, dubbed Nativs, acquire digital plots mirroring real-world locations. They can develop, lease, or sell these parcels, as well as open commercial storefronts and assemble NFT-backed portfolios. The system addresses the friction of bridging entertainment, property speculation, and AI-curated yield within a single unified ledger.
Nativ operates on the Base network. Its smart contracts execute on Base, an Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solution maintained by Optimism’s OP Stack. The protocol inherits Base’s transaction finality and security guarantees without maintaining an independent validator set.
The NTV contract deploys as a standard fungible token on Base, specifically at the address 0x6b67aac5e7456cf47d8901ba2cef01a89002973e. EVM equivalence enables direct composability with Ethereum’s DeFi landscape, while Base’s low-fee environment accommodates the high-frequency microtransactions inherent to a virtual economy.
The project materialized on June 9, 2025, following the publication of a whitepaper in April of that year. That document detailed a blueprint for a self-sustaining digital economy governed by user interactions rather than centralized intermediaries. Early trading commenced across two active markets, though liquidity remained minimal in the initial phase.
Its overarching ambition is to simulate an organic, AI-driven market where digital land value fluctuates based on collective user behavior. By mirroring recognizable geography, the environment lowers the cognitive barrier for participants to speculate, construct, and monetize virtual presences. This contrasts with abstract metaverse projects that lack geographic anchoring.
NTV acts as the sole settlement medium for land purchases, NFT acquisitions, and in-world business licensing. Users who transact frequently or develop high-traffic assets trigger reward distributions, recycling tokens back into the ecosystem. The token is neither a governance instrument nor a staking derivative; its utility is purely transactional and yield-oriented within the closed economy.
A Nativ who buys a city-center plot and builds a virtual retail outlet can collect NTV fees from visitors. Property developers flipping upgraded parcels realize gains in NTV, which can then be reinvested into cross-continent expansions. The AI layer provides portfolio analytics, but the income itself derives from the economic actions of the wider user base.
Nativ has a maximum supply of 148,000,000,000 tokens. Currently, 29,526,000,000 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $22,122, Nativ ranks #8,430 among all cryptocurrencies.
