About Hyperion

Hyperion (RION) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2025. The protocol anchors a composable trading and liquidity aggregation layer purpose-built for the Aptos blockchain, while a parallel BEP-20 token instance circulates on BNB Smart Chain.

A hybrid orderbook-AMM exchange architecture sets it apart. The protocol merges real-time swap aggregation, proprietary market-making algorithms, and automated vault strategies into a single on-chain venue. Fragmented liquidity pools that typically splinter across emerging chains get consolidated, delivering deeper order books and tighter spreads for institutional-grade execution.

Hyperion operates on the Aptos network. The engine harnesses the chain’s sub-second finality and MoveVM execution environment to process high-frequency trades, while the BEP-20 deployment maps token liquidity to the broader Binance Smart Chain ecosystem.

Under the hood, the protocol’s smart contracts are written in Move for the Aptos deployment and Solidity for the BNB Smart Chain instance, enabling cross-chain composability via canonical token bridges. The open-source frontend, codenamed hyperfluid-interface, exposes a unified interface for liquidity provisioning, swap routing, and limit order placements. Trade settlement occurs directly on-chain without custody, and the AMM component supports customizable bonding curves for novel asset pairs.

Pre-seed capital flowed in December 2024 from Ankaa Labs and BlockBooster, two venture firms with deep Aptos ecosystem focus. A public mainnet launch followed swiftly in February 2025, and within weeks RION secured listings on 11 exchanges across 44 trading pairs. The token’s early liquidity was seeded via a Binance Wallet IDO, anchoring initial price discovery.

The project’s long-term ambition is to become the dominant settlement and execution layer for Aptos DeFi, absorbing disparate liquidity fragments into one orchestral trading primitive. Instead of isolating professional market makers from casual swappers, the dual AMM-orderbook design bridges both cohorts under a unified fee and incentive model.

RION accrues value as the native settlement and incentive token of the Hyperion exchange. Liquidity providers earn RION-denominated rewards proportional to their pool share, and the token can be staked to unlock fee discounts on swap and limit order executions. Governance rights attached to staked RION allow holders to vote on pool parameters, fee tiers, and protocol upgrades.

Market makers stake RION to access exclusive order book rebates and lower taker fees, boosting profitability on tight-margin strategies. Passive liquidity providers deposit RION into vault strategies that algorithmically compound returns from swap fees and market-making spread harvesting. Cross-chain arbitrageurs leverage the dual BNB-Aptos token presence to capture price discrepancies without centralized bridging risk.

Hyperion (RION) has a maximum supply of 100,000,000 tokens. Currently, 17,000,000 are in circulation. Average daily trading volume hovers near $276,075, distributed across 44 active markets. With a market capitalization of $3,588,766, Hyperion (RION) ranks #1,875 among all cryptocurrencies.
