GAIB launched in 2025. It acts as the native token for an economic layer that tokenizes AI infrastructure—GPUs, robotics, and energy systems—into tradeable on-chain instruments.
The protocol targets a trillion-dollar opportunity. At the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics, real-world assets, and decentralized finance, GAIB transforms tangible AI resources into reward-bearing onchain instruments, enabling liquid trading and DeFi composability for previously illiquid industrial assets. Its first product is AID, a synthetic dollar fully backed by U.S. treasuries and stable collateral.
GAIB operates on the Ethereum network. Token contracts also exist on BNB Chain. It does not run a standalone blockchain; instead, it leverages EVM-compatible smart contracts for settlement and token transfers, drawing security from Ethereum’s established validator set.
The token adheres to ERC-20 and BEP-20 standards. This ensures broad wallet and exchange compatibility. For yield-bearing, the protocol deploys ERC-4626 vaults. Staking AID into these vaults mints sAID, a receipt token representing ownership in a diversified portfolio: AI compute infrastructure, robotics financing deals, and a reserve of U.S. treasury bills.
The project’s name is a dual reference. It invokes Frank Herbert’s Dune—the unseen or the future—and encodes the pillars GPU, AI, Blockchain. No individual founders are publicly identified. The initiative materialized in November 2025 with a token generation event on Ethereum, shortly before being spotlighted in Binance Alpha. An open-source codebase resides on GitHub, and technical documentation lives at docs.gaib.ai.
GAIB aims to dismantle barriers to AI asset exposure. Compute becomes a currency; GPUs become a freely tradable asset class. By fractionalizing physical infrastructure into onchain instruments, the protocol grants any DeFi participant access to yields once reserved for institutional financiers.
The GAIB token functions as a governance instrument. It confers voting rights over protocol parameters—risk settings for the synthetic dollar, admission of new real-world assets into vaults, and fee adjustments. The token does not represent a claim on collateral. Its power is architectural, not financial.
A practical scenario: an investor buys GAIB to influence the protocol’s expansion into AI-powered energy assets. Holding GAIB gives them a voice in snapshot votes that determine whether solar-powered mining farms get added to the collateral basket. These decisions directly shape the yield profile of sAID. Token holders collectively steer the entire economic layer’s direction.
GAIB has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. All tokens were minted at genesis; no inflation or mining is scheduled. Currently, 204,831,667 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $3,915,731, GAIB ranks #1,811 among all cryptocurrencies.
