About DODO

DODO (DODO) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2020. The asset functions as the native token of a decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol deployed across Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.

The DODO protocol addresses capital inefficiency in decentralized trading by replacing the constant function market maker with a Proactive Market Maker (PMM) model. This oracle-aided algorithm concentrates liquidity near the prevailing market price, delivering distinctly lower slippage than traditional automated market makers like Uniswap. The mechanism ensures contract-fillable liquidity without requiring massive idle reserves, a persistent friction in early DeFi infrastructure.

The DODO protocol operates on the Ethereum and BNB Chain networks. This dual-chain infrastructure extends the reach of its liquidity pools across two of the most active smart contract environments in decentralized finance. Liquidity pools on each chain remain autonomous, yet unified governance permits cross-chain parameter synchronization.

The token exists as an ERC-20 asset on Ethereum and a BEP-20 asset on BNB Chain, with additional wrapped or bridged variants active on Polygon, Arbitrum, Aurora, and Energi. The PMM algorithm relies on external price oracle feeds to dynamically adjust its bonding curve, concentrating capital within narrow bands around the market price. This design produces a liquidity profile that decays sharply away from the oracle price, mimicking the efficiency of order book models in a non-custodial setting.

The project emerged in September 2020 under the development of a pseudonymous or team-based collective often referred to as the DODO team. Its token distribution included an allocation via Binance Launchpool, accelerating initial liquidity and user acquisition. Within its first year, the protocol integrated with multiple sidechains and garnered backing from prominent crypto-native venture funds including Pantera Capital, Coinbase Ventures, and Three Arrows Capital.

DODO’s long-term objective is to recalibrate on-chain market making toward capital efficiency and tighter spreads, diminishing the structural advantages of centralized order books. By lowering the inventory cost for liquidity providers and reducing execution slippage for traders, the protocol aspires to make decentralized exchanges a universally competitive venue for spot trading. It also seeks to diminish reliance on deep pocketed professional market makers, opening participation to a broader range of capital contributors.

The DODO token anchors the protocol’s decentralized governance, furnishing holders with proportional voting weight on the DODO DAO. Liquidity mining programs dispense the token as the primary incentive to providers who deepen order books. Staking contracts lock tokens and distribute a share of protocol revenue among participants, reinforcing long-term commitment.

Liquidity providers deposit DODO into staking vaults to receive a proportional slice of exchange-generated fees. Long-term token lockers benefit from boosted yield multipliers across PMM pools. Traders holding significant DODO balances can access reduced fee tiers on certain trading pairs, incentivizing sustained exposure to the ecosystem.

DODO has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. Currently, 1,000,000,000 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $20,551,641.00, DODO ranks #850 among all cryptocurrencies.
