Changer (CNG) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2018. It functions as an Ethereum-based utility token engineered to unify fragmented micro-economies across the crypto, artificial intelligence, and non-fungible token sectors.
The protocol’s core utility revolves around a shared token model that eliminates the need for alliance partners to deploy native currencies from scratch. Instead of fragmenting liquidity and mindshare across dozens of isolated tokens, projects adopt CNG as a common transactional and access layer. This design directly addresses the market friction of token inflation and community siloing that plagues early-stage ventures. A single fungible asset powers cross-platform engagement, rewards distribution, and settlement, giving partners immediate exposure to a pre-existing user base and integrated product suite.
Changer operates on the Ethereum network. As an ERC-20 token, the asset inherits Ethereum’s battle-tested security guarantees, transaction finality, and global node infrastructure. The contract’s bytecode executes deterministically inside the Ethereum Virtual Machine, and interactions are permanently auditable via public block explorers.
The token adheres strictly to the ERC-20 standard, so every self-custody wallet, decentralized exchange aggregator, and smart contract framework can recognize and integrate CNG without custom middleware. Its on-chain contract is verified and open-source, with the codebase published on a public GitHub repository. This standardization permits atomic swaps, automated market making, and composable yields across any Ethereum-based dApp that supports the interface.
The project materialized in July 2018 through an issuance event recorded on Ethereum block height 5,993,828. No identifiable founding individuals are publicly etched into the documentation; the entity emerged under the Changer banner, releasing its whitepaper and the initial token contract on that single day. Early ecosystem building remained deliberately bootstrapped, with liquidity trickling onto three trading pairs across a small clutch of centralized and decentralized venues. Since genesis, the core team has expanded its alliance framework without signaling any fork or chain split.
The long-term objective is to collapse unnecessary token creation into a single, densely networked asset that behaves as institutional infrastructure for partner platforms. Rather than chasing a narrow vertical like payments or lending, Changer attempts to become a programmable coordination layer where AI marketplaces, NFT galleries, and DeFi protocols converge on one unit of account. The thesis posits that shared economic bandwidth lowers user acquisition costs and thickens network effects across otherwise disconnected ventures.
Inside the ecosystem, CNG serves as the required gas for platform-specific operations—covering transaction settlement, feature unlocks, and access to alliance-exclusive products. It does not confer governance rights over protocol parameters; its utility is purely transactional and access-based. Partners invoice services in CNG, distribute loyalty incentives in CNG, and denominate cross-platform bounties in the same token, creating a closed-loop value circulation that bypasses the need for external oracles or bridges.
Alliance participants hold CNG to activate merchant tooling, whitelist their dApps within the ecosystem directory, and settle payout obligations to users. End-users, in turn, accumulate the token through airdrops or incentive programs and spend it on in-app upgrades, premium data feeds, or AI inference credits across integrated partners. The token’s fungibility ensures that a credit earned in one partner’s gamified NFT marketplace retains purchasing power in another’s machine-learning sandbox.
Changer has a maximum supply of 200,000,000 tokens. Currently, 41,811,235.72 CNG are in circulation. The entire supply was minted at inception, and no further emissions, burns, or algorithmic halving schedules exist within the smart contract’s logic. With a market capitalization of $217,308, Changer ranks #4,701 among all cryptocurrencies.
