About ArtMeta

ArtMeta (MART) is a cryptocurrency token native to the Polygon blockchain. It anchors a curated metaverse platform that fuses high-end gallery art with NFT mechanics, targeting a rarefied corner of the digital collectibles market far removed from generic profile-picture projects.

The protocol addresses deep frictions in traditional art markets—authentication gaps, fragmented provenance records, and physical access barriers—by offering a full-service digital environment where leading galleries tokenize and sell scarce artworks. Real-world partners in fine art logistics, custody, insurance, and banking lend the system institutional weight. Collectors who might never step into a Zurich gallery can now transact on-chain with the same rigor expected in the primary market.

ArtMeta operates on the Polygon network. That architectural choice absorbs negligible gas costs while preserving full composability with Ethereum’s sprawling decentralized finance and NFT infrastructure.

The token adheres to the ERC-20 standard, guaranteeing instant compatibility with any Polygon-compatible wallet or dApp. Its smart contract address is verifiable on PolygonScan, and the supply function enforces a hard cap. No additional MART can ever be minted beyond the stated maximum, a fixed parameter embedded in the bytecode.

Co-founder and CEO Roger Haas entered the art establishment in 2005 through his Zurich-based Haas & Fischer Gallery, an outfit that later exhibited at The Armory Show and FIAC Paris. He then directed the Art Stations Foundation in Switzerland. COO Cem Kulac brought over fifteen years of agile digitization expertise, having grown Switzerland’s largest Lean Agile communities. Critically acclaimed hyper-realist painter Jonathan Delachaux, whose work constructs entire imaginary biographies for three characters, serves as Artistic Director. The project coalesced around their intersecting credentials.

ArtMeta’s long-term objective is to construct a parallel fine art economy governed not by geographic gatekeeping but by smart contract logic. Embedded royalty splits and perpetual resale participation aim to sustain creators in perpetuity, effectively decoupling artist income from the caprice of auction house schedules.

MART functions as the native settlement and access token within this virtual universe. It denominates all NFT sales from partnered galleries, unlocks gated entry to high-end virtual exhibitions, and serves as the accounting unit for auxiliary services like insured logistics and storage. The token does not confer protocol governance rights based on available documentation.

A collector acquires MART through a supported exchange, then bids on a tokenized painting minted by a Geneva gallery whose physical original sits in climate-controlled custody. That same MART purchases a VIP ticket to an immersive Art Basel satellite show hosted entirely inside the metaverse. Galleries price works in MART, and collected fees flow back into the ecosystem’s insurance and shipping partners to close the loop between digital and physical.

ArtMeta has a maximum supply of 100,000,000 MART tokens. None are circulating at present. With a market capitalization of $0, ArtMeta ranks #5,017 among all cryptocurrencies.
