ARCS (ARX) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2019. It exists as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, tightly integrated into that network’s sprawling composability. The asset never migrated to its own chain.
The token’s primary utility unfolds inside AIre, an architecture designed to monetize data through programmable data banks. These data banks store structured information, accessible via proprietary APIs or custom-built applications. Companies plug into this framework to derive analytics and erect entire business scenarios on top of managed data structures. No generic data lake, but curated repositories.
ARX does not power a standalone consensus layer. The token simply lives on Ethereum, inheriting that network’s security and finality. No mining, no validator sets of its own.
Built to the ERC-20 standard, ARX slots into any Ethereum wallet or smart contract that recognizes the interface. The contract address, deployed in late 2019, remains immutable and publicly verifiable across multiple explorers. Transactions settle according to Ethereum’s gas dynamics, with no secondary fee abstraction.
The project surfaced without named public founders in the available records, launching on December 3, 2019. That date places it after the ICO mania, during a period when Ethereum’s DeFi primitives were still coalescing. The whitepaper, published shortly before launch, laid out the vision for tokenized data banks. No equity round was disclosed.
The overarching ambition bypasses simple payments. AIre envisions a marketplace where proprietary data becomes a liquid, token-gated resource, not a siloed corporate asset. Businesses structure and analyze vast caches of information without needing to build the plumbing themselves. Data as infrastructure, not overhead.
Within that marketplace, ARX operates as the functional medium of exchange. Participants spend tokens to access specific data bank endpoints, to query structured datasets, and to deploy applications that interact with AIre’s core APIs. Data providers, in turn, receive ARX for maintaining and enriching those repositories.
A logistics firm acquires ARX to query real-time supply chain data banks. A credit scoring startup builds risk models atop AIre’s APIs, settling each analytic call in tokens. The system demands no staking; its utility is purely transactive.
ARCS has a maximum supply of 5,000,000,000 tokens. Currently, 176,030,825.91 are in circulation. The token exhibits no programmed burn or inflationary emission schedule. With a market capitalization of $2,602,372, ARCS ranks #2,112 among all cryptocurrencies.
