aiRight (AIRI) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2021. Its design stitches together artificial intelligence, non-fungible tokens, and decentralized finance into a single tokenized nexus.
The system confronts a specific breakdown in digital art markets: AI-generated media proliferates without clear provenance or automated compensation corridors. Creators lose revenue streams the instant their work escapes the platform of origin. aiRight hardcodes attribution and royalty distribution directly into the minting transaction.
aiRight operates on the BNB Smart Chain network. A parallel contract on Oraichain extends its reach into oracle-validated AI execution.
The asset conforms to the BEP-20 standard, inheriting BNB Smart Chain’s EVM-compatible execution and low-fee settlement. Its dual-chain architecture routes AI inference calls through Oraichain while keeping NFT transfer logic on BSC. This bifurcation preserves computational efficiency without sacrificing asset portability.
The protocol went live in May 2021 with no publicly named founding cohort. It entered a landscape saturated by standalone NFT platforms and AI art generators, yet no system had fused copyright issuance, fractionalization, and royalty splits into a unified smart contract. The claim of being the world’s first complete system for AI x NFT x DeFi circulated in early documentation.
The overarching mission centers on enforceable digital property rights for machine-assisted creativity. Rather than treating AI output as public domain by default, the network anchors each asset to an immutable on-chain identifier and a configurable royalty agreement.
AIRI tokens settle the computational cost of neural network inferences and the gas expenses of recording copyright hashes. They also denominate marketplace listing fees and the royalty splits that execute automatically upon secondary sales. Without AIRI, the closed-loop enforcement of creator compensation breaks.
A generative artist pays AIRI to mint an AI-derived piece and anchor cryptographic authorship. Collectors purchase the resulting NFT with AIRI, triggering an instant royalty disbursement coded into the token’s transfer function. Oracle nodes earn AIRI for verifying the authenticity of AI model outputs used in provenance claims.
aiRight has a maximum supply of 1,900,000,000 tokens. Currently, 1,356,923,817 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $19,493.07, aiRight ranks #8,676 among all cryptocurrencies.
