Sentinel Protocol, trading as BOUNTY, is an Arbitrum-based cryptocurrency. It functions as a decentralized threat intelligence aggregator.
The protocol pools crowd-sourced security data to immunize wallets, exchanges, and decentralized applications against hacks, phishing, and fraudulent schemes. By transforming isolated incident reports into a collective, cryptographically verified threat feed, it tackles the fragmentation that lets malicious addresses keep reoffending across protocols.
Sentinel Protocol operates on the Arbitrum network using Proof of Stake. Validators commit tokens to confirm or reject threat alerts, creating a distributed consensus on which addresses represent real danger. This process aligns economic incentives with the accuracy of the intelligence database.
The token adheres to the ERC-20 standard, inheriting Arbitrum’s optimistic rollup throughput and native compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Because the mainnet contract lives at 0x6a98968370…, any Arbitrum-native DeFi protocol can interact with it without bridging overhead. Block finality under a second keeps threat updates immediate and transaction costs near zero.
The project anchors itself in Singapore, where a team of cybersecurity professionals launched the initiative to dismantle the siloed nature of threat intelligence. No single founder is publicly credited; the effort coalesced around the urgent market need for a decentralized counterweight to on-chain crime. Early adoption clustered among analytics platforms seeking real-time blacklist integration.
Its enduring ambition is a self-maintaining immune layer for all crypto assets, where attack identifiers propagate instantly across the network before exploits can cause widespread damage. That goal separates it from siloed audit services by creating an open, permissionless feedback loop between reporters and consumers of security data.
BOUNTY underpins every operation: reporters lock tokens to submit suspicious addresses, and validators stake to adjudicate the legitimacy of those submissions. Slashing mechanisms punish false reports, while accurate flagging mints fresh tokens from the protocol’s reward reservoir. Governance votes—where token weight determines outcome—steer parameter changes like the minimum stake threshold.
A typical user may stake BOUNTY to earn a share of fees collected from integrations with wallets and dApps that purchase access to the verified threat feed. Market participants also trade BOUNTY on nine active exchanges, including a pair against wrapped Ether, to capitalize on shifts in the protocol’s threat coverage reputation. Liquidity providers supply the trading pools that keep the token accessible for stakers exiting their positions.
Sentinel Protocol has a maximum supply of 555,416,661 tokens. Currently, 515,625,175.37 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $10,961,265, Sentinel Protocol ranks #1,155 among all cryptocurrencies.
