Scopuly (SCOP) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2022. The asset functions as the native token of a DeFi-oriented wallet and payment platform built atop the Stellar network.
The Scopuly platform eliminates friction in cross-border value transfer by providing a non-custodial wallet that connects users directly to the Stellar blockchain. It aggregates payments, asset issuance, and decentralized exchange functionality into a single interface. The project targets the inefficiencies of traditional remittance corridors through instant, nearly fee-less transactions.
Scopuly operates on the Stellar network. Stellar’s architecture anchors the ecosystem, delivering fast settlement finality of roughly three to five seconds. The integration leverages the network’s native orderbook-based decentralized exchange to facilitate token swaps without wrapped assets.
The SCOP token adheres to Stellar’s native asset protocol, identified by a unique alphanumeric code and issuer account on-chain. Because Stellar bakes a decentralized exchange into its consensus layer, any SCOP holder can place or fill orders directly against the global orderbook without third-party custody. This design collapses the usual layers of centralized intermediaries common in Ethereum-based DeFi.
The project emerged in early 2022, launching its token on March 28 of that year. An extensive whitepaper outlined ambitions for a multifaceted financial tool that would meld banking-style convenience with blockchain settlement. The platform’s code repositories went public shortly thereafter, inviting community scrutiny.
Scopuly aims to recast the digital banking paradigm by anchoring financial sovereignty in a mobile-friendly, self-custodial wallet. Its designers intend to dismantle the arbitrary geographic and cost barriers that segregate global payment systems, nudging both individuals and merchants toward a unified, open-access settlement layer. That north star centers on rendering decentralized finance as quotidian as a checking account.
Within this framework, the SCOP token acts as the primary vehicle for wallet-denominated value storage and peer-to-peer settlement. It operates as a tradable unit inside the Scopuly wallet, where users can also issue new tokens pegged to real-world values and trade them against SCOP pairs on the embedded SDEX orderbook. This mechanically fuels liquidity without external bridging.
A user holding SCOP can transmit value across continents, settle in seconds, and pay transaction costs measured in fractions of a cent—all without a bank connection. Market participants supply the SDEX orderbooks with SCOP liquidity, enabling trust-minimized exchange between the token and Stellar-based fiat anchors. The wallet also supports holding SCOP alongside other Stellar assets, granting unified portfolio management.
Scopuly has a maximum supply of 9,999,999,999 tokens. Currently, 0 are in circulation. With a market capitalization of $0, Scopuly ranks #5,750 among all cryptocurrencies.
